To reach Net Zero by 2050, we must drastically cut CO2e emissions and remove 6 to 10 gigatonnes of CO2 annually from the atmosphere. In short, we have less than three decades to scale a nascent industry to a size comparable to the entire oil and gas sector today.
At Riverse, we’re here to enable this transformation by building the leading carbon crediting platform for engineered carbon mitigation projects.
Founded in 2021 by Clément, Grégoire, and Ludovic—three long-time friends united by a shared mission to accelerate the transition to a circular and sustainable industry—Riverse is a mission-driven company. Today, we are a team of 11 passionate individuals from six different nationalities.
In 2024, Riverse became only the 12th carbon crediting organization worldwide to achieve ICROA endorsement, the highest level of accreditation in the voluntary carbon market.
We are backed by Speedinvest, a leading European VC specializing in climate and industrial tech, along with Techstars, Evolem, and several high-profile business angels with entrepreneurial and climate expertise.
