As part of the Riverse team, you’ll lead the sourcing of carbon project developers, working within our partnerships team alongside Grégoire, our co-founder, CRO, and Head of Partnerships, and Jules, our Partnerships Manager focused on building relationships with carbon credit resellers.
Our start-up culture means high autonomy, no micro-management, and a strong focus on execution and innovation.

🤹 Key Skills for Success
This role places you at the heart of our company, leading a critical part of our business: identifying, sourcing, and closing deals with carbon project developers (carbon credit suppliers). Building on the foundations laid by Greg, this is an incredible opportunity to take on a leading commercial role within the company while working closely with our product and science teams.
- Commercial experience: At least 4 years in business development or sales. Experience structuring sales processes and offers is a plus.
- Carbon markets knowledge: A solid understanding of carbon markets, ideally with knowledge of engineered carbon removal projects.
- Communication & Leadership: A strong communicator who can align stakeholders and inspire teams. Proven ability to work cross-functionally with business and engineering teams.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to align sales priorities with company goals. Experience in gathering and communicating customer feedback to inform company strategy.
- Technical Aptitude: Comfortable working in technical environments, understanding scientific concepts, and engaging with engineers.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English; German is a plus. Experience working in multicultural environments with international customers.

- Shape the commercial offering and processes to scale our carbon project operations

- Identify and close partnerships with carbon project developers
- Ensure a good transition from sales to the certification team
