Skills
- You are an engineering student or equivalent, in a gap year or at the end of your studies
- You have excellent communication, project management and problem solving skills, and are proactive in reaching out to partners
- You have some experience with Python, Git, and data engineering
- You are familiar with one or more carbon impact measurement methodologies: Carbon Footprint, LCA, GHG Protocol, etc.
- You can understand industrial processes and break them down into pieces
- You are comfortable reading and understanding complex calculation models in a code format
- You are detail-oriented and critical, with a keen eye for identifying and discussing potential calculation issues
- You like to work in a team, learn, and discover new areas

🔎 Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our partners to manage project certification: collect data, perform LCAs using internal (Python-based) models, and ensure compliance with our eligibility criteria
- Understand the technical, carbon, and business aspects of different technologies; from biochar production to electronics refurbishing and carbon dioxide removal
- Master our Riverse Standard Rules, eligibility criteria, and methodologies, to enforce quality and rigor in project application reviews and project certification
- Engage with clients and adopt a problem-solving mindset to deeply understand the operations of our green technology partners, identifying relevant arguments and evidence to meet Riverse certification requirements
- Maintain a balance between quality and pace in certification processes by communicating with project leaders and auditors
